Seminars to be held at BaajaaGaajaa
BaajaaGaajaa was launched in Mumbai with a brilliant press conference and some great performances last week at Bonobo. The press was there in full strength and so were the musicians and music lovers! Infact, this was a great prelude to what we are trying to make happen at BaajaaGaajaa in Pune.
It was really nice to see the turn out at Bonobo for this conference and we would really like to thank everyone who made it for the conferene and for taking time for your detailed interviews with us about the event. Now we are just hoping all of this makes it to the press and thereby to the interested public who might be persuaded to show up for the conference next month.
The press conference brought out some interesting insights from Shubhaji and Aneeshji about their thought process behind the creation of BaajaaGaajaa and also their wishlist for things that should happen at the conference. What followed was a series of press interviews while some of the best indie musicians in Mumbai put on a show for the people at Bonobo. What started as a simple acoustic sing-along turned into one of the nicest acoustic jams I have seen in a long time with musicians just jumping on stage and playing an assortment of brilliant music! If this is any indication of how BaajaaGaajaa is scheduled to go, its an event you don’t want to miss!
In the meanwhile, I do hope you are all keeping a close eye on the schedule and marking out the seminars you want to be part of and also the shows and films you don’t want to miss!
